Dr. Chris Smith is originally from New Hampton, Iowa.  His undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and pre-medicine from the University of Northern Iowa. He completed his doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating Cum Laude.  Dr. Smith has advanced training in extremity adjusting, decompression traction therapy, cold laser therapy, and chiropractic implementation into athletics.

Before opening his own practice in Cedar Rapids, Dr. Smith worked in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and North Richland Hills, Texas, as an associate doctor.

Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his wife, Kerry, and daughter, Chloe, as well as participating in sporting activities such as softball, football, basketball, and snow skiing.  The Smith family is also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion.
